How to Build a Face Care Routine

STEP 1 | CLEANSE

It's important for all skin types to cleanse the skin every morning and night to remove makeup, impurities, dead skin cells and excess oils. Our cleansers offer a wave of freshness by removing excess oils and eliminating the impurities. For a more intense cleanse, try double cleansing. This L'Occitane 2-step technique uses two different cleansers to target both impurities of: oil-based and water-based.

Why a double cleanse?
An oil-based cleanser removes oil-based impurities, including sebum, suncreen and makeup. A water-based cleanser removes water-based impurities, including sweat and dirt.

STEP 2 | PREP YOUR SKIN

Try applying an exfoliating face scrub to gently remove dead skin cells and dirt, then give your face a rebalancing boost with our face masks to close your pores and hydrate and plump your skin.

1. To apply your scrub, massage it gently into your skin then rinse off. 
2. Masks then can be applied by gently dispersing a thin layer onto your face with your fingers or a brush. Then, rinse off.

By preping your skin with these two extra steps, you're able to repair your skin by restoring your face skin's natural barrier.

STEP 3 | EYE CONTOUR

The delicate skin under your eyes is extremely thin and sensitive and can be one of the first places to show signs of aging as well as stress and fatigue. Eye care and eye creams contain targeted ingredients to help keep your eyes glowing.
 
A light massage of pressure points around the eye can improve the effectiveness of our eye care products. Start at the inner corner of your eyebrow and move outward, then repeat from the inner corner of your eye towards the outer corner.

STEP 4 | CHANGE HOW YOU AGE

Apply your serum to face and neck, morning and evening, massaging into clean, dry skin.
