PROCESSING:

Please allow up to 5 business days for your order to be processed and dispatched. Following dispatch, you will receive an email with tracking information, if you do not receive tracking details after 5 business days of placing your order please contact our Customer Service team at hello@loccitane.co.nz for further assistance. Our courier provider is CourierPost. Once your order is dispatched from our Auckland warehouse, CourierPost will deliver as soon as possible however from time to time courier issues that are unforeseen or unavoidable beyond L’Occitane New Zealand’s reasonable control may delay your order.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY:

Shipping cost is $8.50 or free shipping applies to all orders $100 or more. Please allow 2-3 business days for the delivery time upon receiving your tracking information. Deliveries are made between Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays), our service is a signature required upon all deliveries or unless contactless signature is suggested from CourierPost or yourself. Once orders are placed, they are not able to be edited, added to or cancelled.  

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Shipping times are a guideline and subject to change. You may experience longer delivery times during peak periods, due to wild weather, or due to other CourierPost delivery issues that are unforeseen or unavoidable events beyond L’Occitane New Zealand’s reasonable control. Online orders are processed and shipped from Auckland, New Zealand and so we follow all Auckland Public Holidays. If you place your order over a weekend or on a public holiday it will be processed at the next available order processing (business) day.

AUTHORITY TO LEAVE (ATL):

If you select or comment to leave your parcel without signature required, you understand and agree that this gives us and/or our couriers the permission to leave your order in question unattended in a safe place at the delivery address without obtaining a signature. This will be where the driver deems appropriate. In these circumstances, you understand and agree that by granting us authority to leave, we and our couriers are released of all responsibility and liability for the Orders delivered and left unattended and that this responsibility and liability is transferred to you on delivery. Please also check that your property does not have an unexpected ‘Authority To Leave’ status attached to your property if you did not authorise this.

SHIPPING ADDRESS:

Please ensure your shipping address is correct and deliverable. Please check on the NZ Post website HERE to confirm. If your shipping address is a business address then please ensure to include the business name. If your shipping address is to an apartment block please ensure you have a building manager that accepts the parcel on your behalf or a mailroom that allows parcels to be left unattended, otherwise supply an alternative shipping address.


INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:

Unfortunately, we only ship in New Zealand for now. Should you want to purchase in a different country, please take a look at our international portal www.loccitane.com

Returns & Exchanges:

We do not have to provide a refund if you have changed your mind about a particular purchase, so please choose carefully. If goods are faulty we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act to provide a remedy. It is L’Occitane’s intention to satisfy our customers and for any reason, you wish to exchange your unopened merchandise, please contact us within 14 days of the receipt of purchase.

All returned items must be accompanied by a copy of the original receipt or e-invoice. The items must be unopened, in a saleable condition with packaging intact.  
Postage will not be refunded.
Please note we cannot offer exchanges on any sale, opened or used products.
Please allow 1-2 weeks from the day you return your package for your request to be processed.
All claims for shortages or damages upon delivery must be reported to Customer Service within 72 hours of delivery and with photos of damage provided.
L’Occitane is not responsible for any damages you made to merchandise after delivery.
